Garnham-Davies - Clinical Skills Centre Manager
John has 20 years experience of working in the NHS. Qualified as an Operating Department Assistant in 1984 and became a Senior Operating Department Assistant in 1990 at the Prince of Wales Orthopaedic Hospital Rhydlafar.
Was appointed District Resuscitation Training Officer in 1994 at the Kings Mill Centre in Mansfield. It was during this time that John became involved in Pre-Hospital Emergency care both as a trainer and practitioner. In August 2003 John was appointed as Manager of the Clinical Skills and Competency Centre based at Nottingham City Hospital. John also works as a response Paramedic. Over the years John has gained the following qualifications :-

John also sits on the PHTLS committee steering group and recently represented the Royal College of Surgeons at the launch of the Sixth edition of the PHTLS manual in La Vegas.
Paul Alsop -
Clinical Skills Trainer - SR Paramedic
Paul has 20 years experience within the pre-hospital care setting. Some of that time with the military and also with the Oil and Gas industry. Paul works for the NHS combining his roles as a Clinical Skills trainer at the Clinical Skills and Competency Centre and as a Specialist Support practitioner with Bassetlaw PCT.
Paul has gained Instructor status in ALS and PHTLS and maintains his clinical skills by working as a Response Paramedic.
